Acid Reflux

 Babies and young children who are suffering from acid reflux respond very well to the chiropractic treatment. Back and neck vertebrae can go out of their normal alignment during birth. Misalignment of the vertebrae may occur as a result of any one of the following: the baby was delivered through C-section, delivery included a vacuum or forceps extraction, or you had to push your baby out over a long period of time. If the reflux in your baby or young child is due to misalignment of his or her vertebrae, a chiropractor can readjust this misalignment and the reflux will be cured. This adjustment will also aid in improving the control of the upper valve of the stomach by his or her nerves. Typically you should observe considerable improvement within 2-3 visits.
