Bed-Wetting

The majority of children who struggle with bed-wetting (nocturnal enuresis) tend to be withdrawn and sometimes possess low self-esteem. This negative effect touches many aspects of their lives. Children may suffer socially (not wanting to spend the night at friends’ houses) or even academically due to the stress and tension caused by their situation. Many cases of bed-wetting are considered as an unfortunate childhood problem so outside treatment is not considered. Typically the chiropractic approach to treating the child who is a bed-wetter is to adjust the spine, usually in the area of the lumbar spine or sacrum. These are prime areas for treatment because they are directly linked to supporting healthy function of the bladder. We are honored when you entrust your child’s care to us. Our team at Hayden Health will be with you each step of the way and will create an individualized treatment plan suited for your child’s needs.
