Hip Pain

Do you realize how important our hip joint is for most of our daily movement? It is the largest ball and socket joint in the body. The cartilage inside of the socket assists in absorbing any friction caused by motion. When it comes to the cause of hip pain, there may be one or more reasons why you may experience problems in that joint area. Some common reasons include: an accident that may have shattered/broken the hip- bone, age, and overuse of the muscles/tendons surrounding the bone. The symptoms of hip joint pain vary from person to person and it also can depend on the type of injury you’ve endured. Some common hip joint symptoms include: lack in range of motion, stiffness in the joint, and pain when placing weight on one side of the joint. Our team will help determine the best form of treatment for your individual situation (adjustments, exercises, strengthening surrounding muscles, and massage).
